The History of the Chartest Movement

The docks don't become properly organized till the 1890s at least in the UK and it's a big deal. Chartest movement is often talked about by historians as being the first sort of national working class movement as such. The suffrage movement famously suffers a kind of historic blow in 1832 when the great reform act is passed which does reform parliament.
