Max didn't really understand that the other kids were annoyed or bothered by his blurting out. A lot of times kids with autism and ADHD take things very literally. They're not quite sure of sarcasm or other kinds of figurative speech when you're engaging in conversation, which can really lead to difficulties with social media.
