His Zen Archery by Todd Rungren

This is the first song I heard by Todd Rungren. And it's about five and a half minutes long. It just becomes extremely beautiful because all of the truly melodic sweeping parts are like pre-staged by the goofy umpa band melody he starts off with. He has this way of taking a melody that you could kind of flatten out and turn into a simpler pop song into something very ornate.
