The Supreme Court's Decision in Bush v. Gore
CNN's John Sutter says the Supreme Court ruled in 2020 that states can pick their own presidential electors. The move would be a seizure of power, but it is legal according to article two of the U.S. Constitution and has been used by state legislatures for hundreds of years. It reminds him of his early days as well as Waukesha when he had to talk about desirability and justification. He thinks we will see this kind of thing happen again if Republicans are able to get control of both houses of Congress next year.
