stephen king spent the first 20 years or so of his career, i think, not getting the respect he deserved. People magazine who i would not listen to about fuckinga thnthey, they called the talisman one of the worst books of that year that it came out. When you watch 19 forty one, yes, it's a train wreck. It is a fascinating and highly entertaining movie,. But critics treated it like it was a fuckin ad wood moviend.
