The History of Gay Masculinity

There has been a long tradition of different kinds of gay masculinist political expression. The Weimar era gay masculinists are sort of the most well-known and well-studded and well-discussed of that group. They politically go in a lot of different directions, including some proto-fascism. And what's really interesting about many of them is that they will reject the term homosexuality because it links sexual object choice with gender.
