No Crime Day in Detroit
From where isaiah thomas stood, no crime day wasn't naive. It was realistic. He knew from experience how cruel the world could be. And he understood that the only people who cared enough to save detroit were detroiters themselves. I guess the naive part of me thinks that there will be a collective we that will come together and stop hurting each other. Even before the first no crime day, isaiah was already dreaming about the next phase. Maybe the nba can adopt a programme, and you can take a guy like larry bird in boston and let im do it. You can take magic johnson in los angeles and let him do it.
