A parish church is a church which has the Statue of Duty of serving a population in a distinct area of land with boundaries. Everybody within that area Has certain rights in the parish church Even today have the right to be baptized and married and buried for example. This was through tithes in the middle ages Nearly everybody played tithes because those people were engaged in agriculture.
