The History of the Biomedical Revolution

The birth of modern bioethics, as we know now, started to take a clear shape in the second half of the 20th century. But this was not the only context; there was also an independence movement and decolonization in the Muslim world. So what went wrong is that Sharia was not central in our society anymore. We left it, we ignored it. And we cannot gain full independence without decentralizing Sharia again.
