The Importance of Trading Independently
I spent a couple of years, two or three summers as an intern at Raymond James Financial which was really interesting. I played support to my boss who had a bunch of clients and he's been in markets for a couple of decades. And then I started helping clients construct hedge positions. So I took a whole bunch of orders back in the days when you still had to write orders on paper tickets and then call into the trading floor and yell at brokers for bad fills.
