The myth of manager win percentage has been debunked by Michael Cox and Sam Lee. Nigel Clough only won 28% of his matches that season for Burton Albion but they survived the first season in the championship. Unai Emery's reign at Arsenal produced a 49% win rate, George Graham's was 55%. I think there are much better measures where you're adjusting for the quality of opposition faced or like the manner in which teams are winning games. You have to take expectation into context if you want to do it properly.
