Persona is a series of Japanese role playing games that dates back to the 90s though its second more modern act arguably began with 2006's Persona 3. There have been two mainline games since then and each one has seen the series profile grow a little bit more in the west and north america. Each entry in the series blends anime, visual aesthetics, funky jazz, fusion, music, storytelling, dating sim elements, and elaborate, involved turn based combat into a 100 plus hour saga.
