Is Elon Musk Really Running a Startup?

There's no competent, actual, actually competent executives surrounding him who are insulating the company from his impetuousness. This is his management style. And then I sort of think going back to my comment on the boring company, that's another one that he seemingly launched on a whim. So we're starting to form at least a hypothesis, right? Let's not say it's proven, but there's a hypothesis for how two of these companies are thriving and actually innovative while others aren't.
