The University of Dallas Is a Catholic University
The University of Dallas was established as a layroom university and that has opened avenues for a lot of different religious communities each with their own structures. We need to maintain a very strong relationship with the diocesan. The Catholic University of America has a very important role to play within the universities of the US. They're they're controlled ultimately by the bishops. But I'm not controlled by them as the president of this university. So I think that this kind of distance between ecclesial structures is really beneficial to who we are in the sense it's on us to be faithful.
