When people get promoted, they're uncomfortable. What do we want to do faster than anything else get comfortable again as quickly as possible? As a leader, what does that mean? That means I'm going to revert back to doing what I used to do. And so now he's going to dabble in what my workers are doing because that makes me comfortable. The training at the time was focusing on things that didn't need to be focused on such as gathering of intelligence and what you need to be providing to to SWAT when you're managing these instances.
