When we go to sleep every night, our temporary memory is like the random access memory on a computer that can only store so much information. Our brain picks out what's useful, and it consolidates it, and it puts it into our long term memory. And when we do that, if we name those memories, then our brain knows where to put em. The people who become successful are the ones who learn how to fire the neurons on the other side of the brain, away from where they are.
