Is Boris Johnson's Greatest Strength in Politics?

Three weeks ago, we were all writing off boris johnson's leadership prospects. Now it looksas if we may be heading for a leadership contest. I rate him quite highly'm a fan - i think he's got real ability. The civil servants that work with him in the treasury speak very highly of him. But i wouldn't write him off a long term if he really still wants to do this. It is quite unusual to see some one's political star fall so quickly. And you could almost argue it shows how kind of politically insubstantial the foundations were.
