Tolhansen is a conservation biologist in the western united states. He's written a book about climate change and evolution, looking at some of the species on the front line of global warming. Scientists tracked all the way to franz joseph land in the arctic circle where the little ork lived. They predicted that the birds would be in the air for at least an hour to reach that ice.
