The Challenge of Having a Championship Game in November
The WBC is held in the middle of spring training. The issue with having it after the season, as people have asked about, is pitchers have already pitched an entire season. Unless they decide universally to get rid of some of the regular season games, I don't see teams kind of giving up. There's really no other time to have this.
