Turn-Based Platforming Isn't a Turn-Based Game
roguelikes don't have moving platforms from instance because partly they'll be trivial to jump across it's no time you know and involve. Part of the environment around you is moving in a turn-based game I think that's very hard in a game that doesn't use animations not a turned-based one. There are ways to play around with the idea you don't need to be real time to have a sort of dynamic environment which brings back some interesting mechanics.
