Bour: Do you think that part of what plato is after here is to give philosophy something to do? Bour: There's actually a passage in the dialogue where he says that working out interrelations between the greatest kinds is dialectic, and that that's precisely what the philosopher does. And i guess maybe poses a problem as to whether the philosopher's not very interested in the physical world around us,. Or is thinking about how forms relate to each other just a way of thinking about the things around us?
