Plato's Discourse on Reason

Rationalism versus empiricism. We are definitely going to see Plato taking a side in this debate. For the philosopher in Plato's mind, reason is key. Another prominent dialectic pops up. Here is the soul or the mind. Or is the body more preeminent? Is that better and higher than having sexy time? These are questions that Plato's grappling with. He will take from both Parminides and from Heraclitus.
