The Kinder-Laden Movement in Germany

The Kinder-Laden movement started in the 1970s as a reaction to the unspeakable horrors of Nazism. The basic goal of the movement was to raise children to be more obedient, disobedient to adults. In previous eras, German child rearing had placed a strong emphasis on obedience above all else. It seems like what you've got is this very well-meaning movement that comes out as an understandable reaction to the horrible crimes of the Nazi era. But you also have all these people who just want to fuck kids and see this as an opportunity to slide a little bit of my ideology in here.
