The Charming Revenge of Albert Dura

This week, we look at a charming example of revenge against an employer who doesn't pay you what you deserve. Albert Dura was commissioned to produce an altarpiece by a wealthy Frankfurt merchant in the early 16th century. As a form of subtle revenge, he plonked a painting of himself in the middle of the altarpainting. And it's so nice, isn't it? Really like the kind of revenge that's not hurting anyone, but is really making a point.
