LZ Granderson: You and your caucus applied leverage to this inferastructure bill. It was passed in august on a bipartisan basis by the senate. But you held it up for several months in order to apply leverage to get more into another bill, he says. LZ: By holding up the intro structure bill, not just once, but actually twice, we were able to jump start the negotiations so that the ultimate bill contained all our progressive priorities.
