Padma Sambaver and the Cremation Ground
Padma Sambaver taught the darkenies - wild, abandoned female deities. Cremation grounds have a very particular kind of atmosphere to it and are haunted by their ghosts. So in a way he was training himself to tame these wild spirits as part of his Bodhisattva sort of training.
