The Nervous Experience of DJing in a Club

Joplin was very young when she had her first bit of success during COVID. It's tough because it takes, it's very different DJing in your bedroom to DJing in a club and getting there's so many horrible factors about DJed in a club that you just can't anticipate. You get horrible audio bounce back off the hard surfaces in a club. Speakers broke and your monitors aren't working. Stuff goes wrong all the time. Like, it's such a different experience. And I think it's a must be really, really nerve-wracking having emerged as a producer to then be kind of booked straight away on festival gigs.
