The Dark Army and the Ministry of Magic
When I first read Harry Potter, his existence under the stairs was very similar to my existence as a youth in care and how I was relegated oftentimes to the have not spaces of the house. So I saw this story of essentially like an escape as something that I had wanted. And as the story got on, there was so much hope I had in book three when serious came up. It just reminded me so much of how even though there was this dark army amassing, the ministry wanted to do it the ministries way because they deemed themselves the be all end all. When anyone's straight from that, even if they were doing it for the betterment of everyone, they were considered criminals
