The Importance of Dr. Paul's Dissent

In 1998 Kyoto's Gokokushrine was the first to set up a Paul monument on its grounds. Dr. Paul detected that the tribunal was none other than a formalized vengeance sought with arrogance by the victorious Allied powers upon a defeated Japan. Whatever Paul's objections, the Tokyo and Nuremberg trials have become formative precedents in the idea of responsibility for crimes against humanity.
