Is It Possible to Live in a Virtual Reality?

I saw pixels, color pixels moving behind a glass screen. The air in a form that looked like me was actually being vibrated by a loudspeaker. Our experience of the world is modeled by the brain. It gives you an experience of reality and I call it a sensory user interface. And your senses adjusted if something unexpected happens. To me, that's part of the role of consciousness.
