The Origins of Dirac's Theory
Ragg: Dirac was very prolific in his steps to where he was going. In the beginning he was doing lots of calculations which were more on the engineering side, rather than the pure theory side. He wanted to be part of this to try and explain the atom and the physics of the atom. Ragg: We really have to understand the birth of something called quantum mechanics because this was the new theory that we needed.
