How Do You Slice Brains?
In neuroscience, we're looking at very small numbers. The thing that we use to slice brains is like a deli slicer,. That's literally what I was capturing. It's the exact same concept as a dela slicer, but frozen. Why do they have to be frozen? That just depends on which method you're using. So sometimes they're frozen to preserve them. Sometimes if you want to see some real gooey stuff, you can also use what's called a vibrate home. And it basically vibrates the brain very quickly and vibrates the blade very quickly. They'll sort of just like wiggle really fast and cut through it. Wow. How fun
