What Happens to India?
I've been hearing it for 30 years, so its it's a little bit odd that it keeps coming back. It comes from an international left politicali course which sees what happens to india very similar to what happened to latin america. And the two have actually gone, like, poverty elevation in india has been miraculous because of liberalization. I mean, i don't think that argument is true in the west. It's certainly not true in india. andt is an irrefutable fact. But yet some professors still mouth this, and i'm like, te, don't you look at data? You know, yo.
