The Importance of Alternative Spirituality
I've always had a kind of grudging respect for radical Islam at the same time as being terrified by it. I think that's probably where a lot of Islamophobia springs from in the UK is to do with the fact that modernity has absolutely nothing to offer them. If you take any religion seriously it's the most important thing in the world and if you don't take it seriously then there's no point doing it. It reshapes you actually it transforms you if it's not transforming you then it's not something's wrong with it. Yeah who knows maybe we'll be saved by immigration.
