The Effects of Zeranolone on GABAA Receptors
There's no consistent evidence that benzodiazepines will help with depression. On the other hand, there are studies with zeranolone that in some ways change treatment paradigm. If you asked how long will it take, there's a robust effect in a matter of days. About two thirds of that effect was present after first week of treatment. So this is very clearly different than monomeromine modulating medications.
