French spelling can be quite com ted, because there's lots of silent letters in french. And if you've got the word van, then it's quite difficult to identify how you would write that. So all our constructions so far have used the word fe f a i t. That comes from the verb fer, which means to do or to make. In this situation, we're using it talking about weather, literally, in a sense, what's the weather doing? You may not see that everywhere in the english speaking world, but if you said it, then people would know that you want to find out what the weather is like on a particular day. Let's change this slightly
