Paul Erlich's Overpopulation

Paul Erlich merged overpopulation anxieties with the environmentalist movement. He was the first person to really make the case that to save the planet, we have to start looking at the number of people on it. It sort of feeds into this sort of lefty environmentalist idea that people are the problem.
