A lot of misunderstanding in life has to do with when one person is in a quiescent kind of paused mode and they want to really experience something right there and then. Those are two different neurochemical systems that in that moment, they're kind of incompatible. And it's no wonder that the drugs that promote one system or the other tend to succeed but also fail because so far there hasn't been a wonder drug that can tap into these systems simultaneously at least not with outside effects.
