Gabe Wine: I think it's important for us to look around in the situations in which we find ourselves for these kinds of opportunities for solidarity. But, you know, i think it's good if people want to become carpenters or nurses or teachers with a political ogenda in mind. The cadre industrializing programme of the 19 seventies did yield real, important historical gains, not in a systematic way, but,. you know, in a scattershot way.
