Why Do We Have Such Attractive Human Characteristics?
Darwin's theory of evolution gives rise to human psychology, which can no longer be explained straightforwardly or immediately in terms of survival value for the individual. Some people who are not religious at all argue that religions are good invention of evolution. But i think the trouble with that argument is it's too direct. It suggests that you can get an explanation of the existence of religion straight from darwin's ther of evolution. Actually it has to go through an intermediate stage, which is a human psychology. You could say someone designed christian religion as the ideal of everybody else by making them renounce their self-deceit and repress themselves. Thats a little bit litti
