The World Cup in Qatar and the Human Rights Crisis in Europe
Human rights organisations have asked FIFA and World Cup organisers to compensate the thousands of workers experiencing awful conditions in Qatar. LGBT football fans have been warned against travelling to Qatar due to the dangers of being arrested or discriminated against. Women's rights has also been criticised for its conservative approach to women's rights. Denmark will wear a special kit to highlight Qatar's human rights abuses as they don't want to support Qatar's economy. Other players are expected to display the LGBT rainbow flag or other symbols aimed at highlighting abuses.
