How to Discipline a New Believer

The first mistake goes with kind of not believing in people. It's giving up on people too soon. Jesus practiced the principle of selection, but there's a difference between deep discipleship training and follow-up. You can't select a new believer because they're a baby. They're a spiritual baby. And so new believers are not born faithful. You actually have to train them to be faithful, available, teachable.
