Are There Any Examples of Rules and Guidelines for Facebook Groups?

Is there a way when you first sign up for the group to state this is what the purpose of the group is and this is who this is for? And if so, is there certain language we ought to consider putting into that at that point? That's a great question. I would recommend keep it short and simple. Don't go too crazy. Some of mine and all my groups are like be kind, courteous and positive. Treat everyone with respect, respect all members privacy. We absolutely say no self promotion, no links, no DM me type posts.
