Advaita Vedanta says the universe is not real like Brahman, pure existence and consciousness bliss. It's neither real nor unreal also. We are experiencing it right now. Even when you take it to the example of gold and the bangle and the necklace and the ring, what is real in all of them is the gold. The three universes are false. This is not existing and yet experienced. There's a word in Sanskrit for this, Mithya, false. That which never is experienced need not be corrected. But that which is experienced wrongly, incorrectly, in illusion or delusion needs to be corrected by knowledge.
