I think the most charitable, like explanation i have for the eagles is, if thorn is worthy, and he gets his like, sort of griffendor moment. Maybe because the good guys won the battle on their own. Who knows? It says bilba never saw them again, except high and far off in the battle of five armies. But as that comes in at the end of this tale, we will say no more about it. Just now. Totally forgot about that. That's soa, just such like a funny, a little yet, these funny little notes from the narrator. I like those a lot. And i think that's what really helps, helps it feel
