Back in those days when I started and I'm kind of grateful for this like you would play a six hour set sometimes like you were booked from 10 to 4 in the morning New York clubs. Before camera phones and the smoking band and all these things and VIP booths everyone stayed on the floor that's where you stayed. You couldn't find out someone text you to tell you there's a better party across town or you wouldn't see it on social media. If it was a good night people came to the club and stayed all night so you would focus on one group of maybe girls dancing which was your barometer.
