The Chinese state's reaction to the revolt by Progogen was fairly predictable. They were always going to come down on offering support for Putin because not only has she been tied to Putin for many years, but they're also broadly pro-Russia in the war and certainly anti-NATO. And when they did do stories, they were very buried. It was all kind of, you know, like page six stuff. Instead, we got stories about how Xi Jinping had been corresponding with a Belgian zookeeper over pandas.
