How to Acquire Inner Strengths

The way we acquire inner resources, like gratitude or compassion or wisdom, is in two steps. First step is to experience what you want to grow. The second necessary step is to turn that experience into a lasting change in the body and brain. And so lots of people are good at the first step. They're good at having beneficial experiences but they don't pay much attention to actually turning that experience into an awakening factor.
