In verse 32, now therefore are god, the great, the mighty, the terrible. Let not all the trouble seem little before thee that hath come upon us since the time of the kings of assyria unto this day. I love that verse because it's describing god in such lofty terms that no wonder it has to describe their mortal sufferings and troubles as minescule. He wanted to feel them and experience them up close and personal until they loomed large and larger enough for even a god to want to save us from i love that verse.
