In the 38 days that they're up in this mountain, which is the same length as the whole Sicilian campaign, they fire 38,000 mortars. How many tubes would they have had in that company? I don't know. But then you see that footage we were looking at in Normandy, wasn't it the Wessex division? Firing mortars. And you can see it literally just plopped them in. So Darby is interesting because he set up the Rangers in 1942. He was an aide to Major General Hartle, who was Russell L. Hartle or P Hartle. The 34th Red Bull's division came over to the UK in early January 1942.
